Chocolate Syrup

This is the ONLY Chocolate Syrup recipe you’ll ever need. Go ahead and take a minute to throw away all other chocolate syrup recipes you have.

Be liberated knowing that this is the one, the only, chocolate syrup recipe you’ll ever need again. I promise.


Chocolate Syrup

1 c. Dark Cocoa
2 c. Water
3 c. Sugar
½ Vanilla bean, split and caviar scraped and added
Pinch of Maldon Sea Salt Flakes, 8.5 ounce Box

In a large saucepan, mix cocoa and water together. Cook over medium heat until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla bean. Stir smooth, and cook until bubbles for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add salt and stir until dissolved. Let cool and strain into container. This syrup makes the most divine chocolate milk. I have completely spoiled my boys. They will not drink any other chocolate milk. They always ask me, “Mom, is this YOUR chocolate? If not, then no thanks, I’ll wait for yours.”
