I am a recovering short-order chef. I can admit it now. I used to make separate meals for pretty much everyone. I look back now and think how much time was wasted just to just get everyone fed the way they wanted to be fed.

Now, our family eats together. I keep track of the boys favorites and not so favorites, and I just make sure not to have too many of the not-favorites in a row. This way, they are more inclined to eat both ways knowing that tomorrow will be something they’ll enjoy a little more.
