Simple Syrup

Have you ever tried to make your own lemonade at a restaurant, only to be completely disappointed by the sugar not melting? You go through the awkwardness of requesting a bowlful of lemons, managed to sneak in more sugar than necessary only to embarrass yourself by sucking up a strawful of sugar from the first big gulp and choking in front of everyone. This simple syrup is the solution to the problem of the never dissolving sugar. The simple syrup is simply a mixture of water and melted sugar.

2 c. sugar
1 c. water

In a saucepan, combine the ingredients and cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat to completely dissolve the sugar. Let cool. This is the BEST way to serve tea or lemonade. Some people like it really sweet, and some like it unsweet. This way, your CrazyFresh peeps can control the amount of sweetness. Brilliant!
